We are recruiting for a leading Perth-based EPCM client involved in major projects across the energy, chemical, and resources sectors. This project is geared towards renewables. The team is dynamic and dedicated, providing a supportive environment that fosters innovation and collaboration.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Perth team. In this role, you will:

  • Complete civil design of open and closed drainage structures, retaining walls, laydowns, and general civil design around processing plants.
  • Prepare calculation packages to support designs.
  • Advise the lead engineer on project scope and assist with changes in compliance with project change management processes.
  • Support the lead structural engineer where opportunities arise, ensuring successful delivery of project requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with the structural engineering team and project stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve issues, developing appropriate solutions and seeking assistance when necessary.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field.
  • Extensive experience in structural engineering design within the mining, energy, and/or infrastructure sectors.
  • Experience with civil engineering software such as Drains, StormCAD, MicroStation, and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of pavement design and design standards.
  • Ability to design drainage networks.
  • Proficiency in using the 365 suite and various collaboration tools.
  • Strong independent working skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
