We are currently recruiting experienced Safety Assurance Engineers to work on a portfolio of rail and rolling stock projects.
Location- Brisbane (preferred), Sydney or Melbourne
Duration- Permanent
Salary- $120,000 - $150,000 + Super
Responsibilities
- Ensure life cycle safety assurance and compliance with relevant codes and standards incl. AS61508, ISO 15288 and CENELEC group of standards e.g. EN50126/8/9
- Producing Safety Assurance Plans, Safety Analysis, Hazard Log, Safety Case Reports and other deliverables
- Review RVTM and Hazard Log
- Confidently interact and engage with both internal and external stakeholders
- Review functional and operation requirements
- Develop associated safety cases and SFAIRP arguments in support of design
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 3+ years SESA experience, primarily focused on Safety engineering
- An understanding of Systems Engineering principles
- Ability to produce safety analyses and documentation (such as PHA, SHA, IHA, OSHA, FTA, QRA, Safety Cases
- Rail / Rolling Stock experience preferred.

Our client, a major Engineering company, is looking for a Principal Protection and Controls Engineer to work on an initial 12-month contract. This is a remote role; however, local candidates are preferred. If the candidate is local (within a 1-hour radius of Reading, PA, they will be asked to come in on a hybrid schedule of 2 times per week) If located in the California time zone, the candidate must be willing to work on the time zone schedule of Reading, PA Interested in candidates who are open to contract to hire role and interested in staying and growing with the company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Technical execution of complex protection and control project assignments applied to both brownfield and greenfield projects for various clients.
- Preparation of engineering drawings and documents, calculations, and other miscellaneous deliverables.
- Supervise/coordinate other engineers of equal and lesser experience to successfully deliver a project.
- Discuss technical problems and communicate effectively with other project personnel and outside Customers.
- Perform independent audits and reviews of technical work.
- Perform proposal preparation, and proposal estimates, and provide input to scope documents and client presentations.
- Perform the function of a team leader who is capable of solving complex issues and act as a lead engineer responsible for the quality of the deliverables.
- Ability to travel to job sites to perform site walk down.
- Responsible for the quality assurance of the documents to the applicable drawing standards and responsible for the proper document management procedures followed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States.
- Experience in protection and control engineering for switchyards and substations including supervisory experience (up to and including 500kV voltage class stations).
- Experience working in a project leadership role.
- Experience in estimating project costs and writing proposal content.

We are supporting a world leading Engineering company in the telecommunication industry and we are looking for a Technical Analyst / Project Coordinator to support them.
You will play a key part in ensuring the delivery of telecommunication projects. You'll act as a bridge between customers and project teams, ensuring all technical requirements are clearly understood to enable successful execution on the project
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with customers in German (written and verbal) and collaborate with project teams in English.
- Become an expert in fibre technology and its applications within telecom.
- Develop a strong understanding of the client's technology environment to ensure project deliverables meet all requirements.
- Proactively identify and solve technical and process-related issues.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English is essential.
- Prior experience or knowledge of fibre technology and the telecom industry is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Location: Switzerland (willingness to travel to Switzerland required for non-local candidates)
Work Arrangement: Onsite / Hybrid / Remote (with regular visits to Switzerland)
Language Requirements: Expert level in German and English
