The role:
As a Climate and Energy Engineering (HVAC) Engineer, you play a fundamental role in the development of sustainable and energy-efficient designs for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in industrial settings. In this role, you are a key player in the project team, collaborating closely with modelers, planners, and the utility or industrial project leader. You will be working on various projects across different industries, including food, pharmaceuticals, and chemistry. Your main responsibilities involve creating essential calculations, detailed assessments, and structural designs, all in collaboration with your colleagues to achieve the best possible design.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to design and develop sustainable HVAC systems for industrial projects.
- Generate essential calculations and detailed assessments for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Create structural designs and contribute to the overall project's success.
- Work in multidisciplinary teams with modelers, planners, and project leaders to ensure optimal design outcomes.
- Prioritize safety, sustainability, and energy efficiency in all HVAC engineering tasks.
Qualifications:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in HVAC or Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
- You have practical experience in climate and energy engineering (HVAC).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A customer-oriented and result-driven mindset.
- Insight into complex systems and, ideally, experience in the process industry.
- This position is open to candidates who speak both Dutch and English.
