Airswift is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler to join one of our major energy clients in Lloydminster, AB.
 
This role requires a highly professional and personable individual who demonstrates strong business judgment, clear and concise communication, and organizational skills, and who enjoys working in a busy environment with significant growth opportunities. This individual must interact with all stakeholders and foster a “One Team, One Goal” concept. Safety, reliability, and efficiency are predominant areas of focus. Reporting to the Maintenance Planning Coordinator, the Scheduler is assigned to an area that consists of one or more Lloydminster facilities.
 
The Scheduler manages work requests, and capacities of available resources and assigns resources to execute planned and unplanned work. Facilitate daily and weekly maintenance scheduling meetings. The Scheduler will demonstrate strong knowledge of work management processes and be proficient in the use of Graphical Work Order Scheduling software (GWOS) and Sales Force.
 
Core Responsibilities:
• Facilitate daily and weekly scheduling meetings with Plant stakeholders to review all work requests and creates work orders and in some area releases those
• Prepare and coordinate maintenance daily and weekly work schedules. Move work through SAP GWOS tool by managing statuses and dispatch work to maintenance trades 2 that they can do based on capacities. Engage contractors for remaining work and assign through Salesforce.
• Forecast the maintenance 6-week look ahead schedule to identify materials, resources, plant availability, and special requirements and manage this so they do not cause delays. Working closely with Procurement, Maintenance and Operations.
• Manage work team available capacities
• Develop specialized project improvements I.E., training materials to help drive efficiencies in Work management process
• Maintain cloud-based support programs that support the scheduling of work KPIs
• Reporting, analyzing and distributing data for improvements and measurements
• Release & Vet PMs to ready to the schedule status and plot into next 12 weeks look ahead
 
 
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma – Required.
• Business / Technical Diploma or equivalent business training- Asset
• Trades certification- Asset
• Scheduling training- Asset
• Cost estimation training- Asset
• Thermal Production Operations Office- Asset
• Corporate Training Profile Individual Contributor- Asset
• SAP Plant Maintenance training- Asset
• Driver license as some work at plants- Required
