Responsibilities
- Primarily to apply professional engineering skills and judgement to design electrical, instrumentation and control system engineering systems for client projects.
- These clients are across a range of industries and the activities will be across the spectrum of feasibility studies, design, site inspections and commissioning.
- It is expected that as a qualified engineer, you would normally work without continuous direct supervision but with a regular technical review of your work by a Senior Electrical Engineer.
- To directly supervise less experienced engineers and designer/drafters when required.
- Follow and document the methodology of engineering design and commissioning processes.
- Prepare and review design calculations, reports, models, documentation, and other engineering deliverables.
- Establishing relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, and other professionals.
- Complying with existing engineering processes and providing feedback to management on potential improvements.
- Estimating budgets, schedules, and various other project documents for approval by Project Managers or Senior Engineers.
- Performing diagnostic analysis or troubleshooting equipment.
- Ensuring a safe, positive work environment where policy is followed, teamwork is appreciated and we solve for “yes”.
- To comply with all statutory, regulatory, and other requirements (compliance obligations)

Required Experience
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or approved equivalent
- 3+ years of professional experience
- Technical design and practical experience.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Practical experience with electrical system modelling and CAD software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated performance in a design role delivering reliable, competent, innovative design

Airswift is supporting a leading Engineering Client in The Pulp and Paper Process Industry.
We are looking for a Lead Engineer to cover the Piping & Layout Discipline with experience in industrial process facility. The role will be based in Sweden. You will be required to be based in Stockholm for this role.
As a Lead Engineer you responsible for the Piping and Layout discipline and will own and lead all phases of the projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan for equipment layouts in plant office and production facilities
- Analyse existing industrial techniques and develop recommendations for changes to working methods that will minimize costs.
- Efficiency studies for utilisation of production facilities
- Provide Engineering services and technical advise to industrial engineering activities
- Reviewing of production methods, equipment layouts, technical specifications, parts drawings and other engineering data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- A minimum of 5 years of experience
- Process industries and multidisciplinary plant engineering projects, positive if from Paper and Pulp
- Experience from review, approve and challenge technical documents /solutions in all project phases
- Experienced user of Aveva E3D (and/or Aveva PDMS)
Airswift are searching for an experienced Power Systems Engineer to join an EPC responsible for delivering renewable energy projects in Melbourne. Associated functions would include grid connection compliance with Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) and the preparation of technical documentation. Responsibilities
- Liaising with AEMO, NSPs and other regulatory bodies to attend to and resolve inquiries for grid connections.
- Use PSSE to determine load flow and short circuit analysis plus other energy modelling tools to create energy models for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
- Management of grid connection applications, and scoping of tasks required to be conducted by consultants.
- Attend construction sites as required for witness testing and commissioning.
- Ad-hoc travel to assist in power system validation during commissioning and on as-needs basis for client meetings.
Requirements:
- Electrical Engineering Degree (Bachelor or Master)
- Experience with the NEM connection application process.
- 3+ years’ experience working as a power systems or grid connection engineer in Australia.
- Working experience in EPC, PV and BESS is welcome and an advantage.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
