Overview

We are currently recruiting an experienced B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to work for an established aviation maintenance specialist, who are looking for an experienced LAME to ensure the airworthiness of aircraft fleet. 

On offer is a generous salary package with rental assistance and relocation assistance, paired with type training. 

Location-          Karratha, Western Australia

Duration-          Permanent

Salary-              $150,000 + Super + $30,000 Rental Assistance + initial relocation to Karratha

Responsibilities

• Identify and correct malfunctioning jet, turboprop and multi-engine aircraft components and systems
• Diagnostic and mechanical duties incl. required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly
• Service complex aircraft assemblies, landing gear, air conditioning systems, pressurisation systems, fuel control units, oil pumps, starter / generators, hydraulic and vacuum pumps
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs and component replacements 
• Conduct routine and non-routine maintenance tasks, including engine overhauls, avionics installations, and structural repairs.
• Observe in-flight operation and troubleshoot any issues for repair

Required Experience

• CASA Part 66 B1 License
• Experience coverage on Cessna Citation model preferred but not essential as type training is provided.
• Must have full Australian working rights i.e. Australian Citizen / Permanent Resident (or NZ Citizen)

The role

Your expertise in tendering, contracting, and system-oriented contract management equips you to provide customized advice and serve as a (senior) consultant, benefitting both clients and contractors. Furthermore, you'll work closely with your colleagues and provide guidance to junior consultants on the team.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate project requirements, preferences, and risks.
• Provide expert advice on innovative contract structures.
• Oversee tendering processes and manage existing contracts for infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues to optimize project outcomes.
• Mentor and support junior consultants on the team.

What do we expect of you?

• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in multidisciplinary integrated contracts based on UAV-GC and/or construction teams in the civil engineering sector.
• Proficiency in drafting integrated contracts and tender documents.
• Knowledge of current legislation and regulations in tendering; experience with risk management of projects (according to the RISMAN method) is a plus.
• Strong enthusiasm for the profession, complementing your technical knowledge and experience.
• Excellent self-management skills and a proactive approach to work.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch as well as English.

The Role:
Are you an experienced (Lead) Engineer in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, and Automation? Do you want to be the central figure in various projects within the gas, food, and chemical sectors?
In your capacity as a (Lead) Engineer, you will serve as a pivotal figure in a wide range of mono- and multidisciplinary projects. Your responsibilities will encompass the complete project life cycle, starting from initial concept development, all the way through to commissioning. Your expertise will be instrumental in translating preliminary sketches, specifications, and technical designs into actionable plans for tendering or execution.

Responsibilities:

• Play a key role in both mono- and multidisciplinary projects, from initial sketches, specifications, and technical designs to tendering or execution.
• Provide technical guidance to clients, create (partial) budgets and schedules, and maintain close collaboration with engineers and drafters in your projects.
• Take ownership of various projects, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
• Manage relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry specialists within and outside of Sweco.
• Perform tasks across various project phases, from concept to commissioning.

Qualifications:

• A relevant completed bachelor's/master's degree with a background in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, and Automation.
• Substantial experience as an engineer, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Demonstrable practical field experience.
• High levels of personal responsibility and customer focus.
