Our client is seeking a Electrical Engineer to work on a 12-month assignment in Perth, WA.

Electrical Engineer

  • Perth.
  • 12-month Contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce detailed design drawings, capital cost estimates, and a full suite of study deliverables.
  • Operate independently while having access to a principal for technical guidance.
  • Be responsible for project deliverables, demonstrating capability at a Senior level.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Be an effective communicator, liaising directly with Engineering Managers, Project Managers, and Estimators.
  • Contribute to a variety of rail projects for different clients, including major projects and sustaining capital initiatives.
  • Possess knowledge of Pilbara Operator standards, as these differ significantly from Australian Standards.
  • Embrace a traditional consultancy role and seize opportunities for growth within Client's Company.
  • Apply true technical design engineering experience, with a strong focus on design rather than operations or maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably with qualifications verified by Engineers Australia if obtained overseas.
  • A minimum of 3-7 years of technical design engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with Pilbara Operator standards, distinct from Australian Standards.
  • Ability to work independently, taking initiative and showcasing problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work on diverse rail projects for various clients, encompassing both major projects and sustaining capital initiatives.
  • Eagerness to advance in a traditional consultancy role, leveraging the growth trajectory of Client's Company for future opportunities.
