Responsibilities
- Conduct first article inspections for manufactured parts, ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Candidate responsible for interim inspections, final inspections and verification.
- Active contributions in carrying out root cause analyses, according to the Kepner & Tregoe (KT)
- Basic Problem Solving method and subsequent (remedial) actions to implement continuous quality improvements
- Follow AS9102 guidelines for documenting and reporting inspection results.
- Collaborate with production teams to address any non-conformities or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and approvals.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives related to FAI.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, interpret specifications and GD&T interpretation.
- Strong communication skills for reporting findings.
- Preparing and releasing inspection records accompanying deliveries
- Familiarity with aerospace or manufacturing industry standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Drawing up, checking the deviation description, handling and deciding within authorization frameworks with regards to NCs and customer complaints.
- Production challenges related to forged and machined parts, heat treatments, and surface treatments (such as corrosion resistance, hard chrome plating, and shot peening), provides a significant advantage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master's degree minimum 6 years of FAIR experience will be considered.
- Read and understand the Aerospace components, Engineering drawings and landing gear exposure.
- Understand all GD&T symbols and should be able to apply for manufacturing process and their applications.
- Work location: Papendrecht, Netherlands
- Must have working knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Access & Excel.
- Excellent reporting and writing skills.
- You speak and write English well. Dutch is also important.
