We are in search of a skilled and meticulous IM Data Analyst. This role involves overseeing and managing the master process safety data and drawings, ensuring alignment with Operational Integrity Management practices and OSHA Process Safety Information regulations, including Management of Change (MOC).

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough reviews and quality checks of incoming process safety information and drawing packages to verify accuracy.
  • Oversee equipment and instrument databases, including the assignment of appropriate equipment and instrument numbers.
  • Ensure the consistency and accuracy of metadata in equipment tags for efficient document retrieval during daily operations.
  • Maintain control over master copies of Process Safety Information, encompassing drawings, technical, operations, and safety documents.
  • Collaborate effectively with technical services, maintenance, and operations teams.
  • Interact tactfully and diplomatically with staff at various levels within the refinery and corporate headquarters.
  • Ensure all Process Safety Information, including Safe Operating Procedures, is current, issued, and tracked properly.
  • Support the management of concurrent engineering and redline processes.
  • Provide necessary training to site teams on Process Safety Information management.
  • Develop dashboards to monitor data quality across departments, enhancing production time and reducing operational and incident costs.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong understanding of taxonomy, metadata, and document management practices.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing information management standards, procedures, and processes.
  • Familiarity with systems like MSDP, SAP PM, and TechDocs.
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering and supporting documentation, including revision control and project lifecycle processes.
  • Ability to accurately identify various types of engineering drawing documents.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and capability to conduct comparative analyses to resolve integrity issues.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Livelink, and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive positive change with enthusiasm and persistence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
  • Capability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of the petroleum/oil and gas industry, engineering disciplines, and accepted file types.
  • A Bachelor's or Technical College Diploma in information science, records management, archival science, engineering, science, or process safety is preferred.
  • ECMS, ECMM, RM, or AIIM certification is highly desirable.
  • 3-5 years of experience in process safety, records management, information management, or document control.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, working with Owner Operators, large Contractors, or EPC firms.
