The Role:
As an Instrumentation Engineer with our client, you will play a pivotal role in the field of Brownfield detailed design activities, specifically focusing on offshore (O&G) platforms. Your expertise will be utilized in preparing specifications, Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), and attending Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for various systems, including SCADA/DCS, telecommunication (CCTV, PAGA, radio systems, LAN, WiFi), and Fire and Gas detection. Your proficiency in generating detailed design deliverables, such as cable lists, block diagrams, layouts, termination diagrams, installation typical hookups, and loop diagrams, will contribute to the successful execution of complex projects.


  • Execute Brownfield detailed design activities, adhering to NAM/Shell standards.
  • Prepare specifications, TBE, and attend FAT for field instrumentation and control/on-off valves.
  • Handle SCADA/DCS system specifications, TBE, and FAT.
  • Oversee telecommunication system specifications, TBE, and FAT for various components.
  • Manage Fire and Gas detection system specifications, TBE, and FAT.
  • Contribute to offshore platform design, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Generate detailed design deliverables, including cable lists, block diagrams, layouts, termination diagrams, installation typical hookups, and loop diagrams.
  • Prepare engineering deliverables such as cause and effect and control narratives.
  • Possess and maintain offshore certificates, including BOSIET.


  • BSc or MSc in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working for an engineering company.
  • Proficient in Brownfield detailed design activities.
  • Familiarity with NAM/Shell standards.
  • Experience with Offshore (O&G) platforms.
  • Strong expertise in preparing specifications, TBE, and attending FAT for various systems.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation detailed design deliverables.
  • Ability to generate engineering deliverables, including cause and effect and control narratives.
  • Possession of offshore certificates, including BOSIET.
