Airswift has been tasked by a major chemical client to seek an Integrity – Facilities & Project Engineer to work within their facilities in Beaumont, TX for a 1-year contract, potential extension.
Part-time – Full-time (e.g., 20 – 40 hrs/ week).
  • Arrange discussions with engineers and maintenance personnel to ensure a complete scope of work is written in a clear and concise manner and applies engineering principles to ensure deliverables and results are useful and retained for future reference.
  • Develop scope of work to support Facility surveys, Inspections, Post inspection repairs,
  • Software Implementation, Piping circuitization, etc.
  • Review inspection results and develop repair scope of work.
  • Work with procurement group to develop Request For Proposal (RFP) packages based on scope of work, develop questionnaires for technical bid evaluations, review submitted proposals, and support award recommendation.
  • Work with procurement to issue Purchase Orders / Contract and perform Cost Stewardship (invoices paid, outstanding work and communicate accruals) once awarded.
  • Gather appropriate company specifications and drawings to support RFP packages.
  • Develop clear deliverables as required to support ongoing work.
  • Develop tables and templates for ease of communication.
  • Review quality manual and ensure vendor deliverables comply with requirements. Handover to inspections group to put into Asset Management Software
  • Complete redline markups of drawings for the scope of work or to issue Management of Change requests.
  • Assist in writing Facility Integrity Manuals.
  • Review Management of Change (MOC) and ensure the MOC is clear and has the appropriate information supplied for reviewers across the Company.
  • Static Equipment SME support:
  • Technical review of MOCs as related to static equipment (e.g. be able to perform piping and valve sizing calculations, redline mark-ups).
  • Piping and vessel minimum thickness calculations using ASME Codes. API 579-1.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology.
  • 3+ years of industry experience.
  • Project management skills including the ability to organize, plan, and deliver results per business timeline.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Projects.
  • Experience in Autodesk, SAP, PCMS etc. useful.
  • Good understanding and ability to comprehend applicable industry standards
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Leadership and coordination skills
