The role:
We are seeking a Maintenance Engineering Manager for our client, a leader in the chemical industry. The successful candidate will oversee a team of 15 maintenance personnel, ensuring the smooth execution of daily maintenance tasks and preparatory work for a planned shutdown of a sulfuric acid plant.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate a team of 15 maintenance staff.
  • Oversee preventive mechanical maintenance and daily tasks.
  • Prepare for and execute maintenance during a sulfuric acid plant shutdown.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Manage mechanical and preventive maintenance tasks in the workshop.

Qualifications:
  • BSc. in a relevant studies.
  • Strong background in process technology and mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in a managerial role with a focus on maintenance.
  • Excellent people management and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to handle stress and work under pressure.
  • Experience in the chemical industry is highly desirable.
  • Safety-conscious mindset.
