Airswift is working with one of our major Oil and Gas clients to find a Mechanical Technician IV to join their team in Fort McMurry, AB.

RESPONSIBILITIES & COMPETENCIES
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, install, and commission mechanical equipment, adhering to safe operating practices.
  • Handle emergency response duties and provide on-call maintenance coverage 24/7.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on rotating equipment, valves, tank mixers, pumps, motors, turbines, meters, sampling, relief, and material balance systems.
  • Collaborate with Supervisors, Planners/Schedulers, other Technicians, Electricians, CCO, Regional Support, contractors, and PLM for planning and executing work.
  • Ensure maintenance work complies with regulations and company procedures.
  • Adhere to all company policies.
  • Be available for emergency response and maintenance calls.
  • Stay current with safety and technical training.
  • Maintain facility records and update drawings.
  • Use maintenance software for documenting work.
  • Develop and execute equipment lockouts.
  • Assist Electrical, Operation, and PLM Technicians as needed.
  • Support project teams in construction activities.
  • Manage one-call requests, crossing reports, and line locating.
  • Maintain facility cleanliness, safety, and security.
  • Supervise contract personnel and act as a Mechanical SME for the assigned area.

The successful candidate needs to be well-organized, energetic, and service-oriented with the following qualifications:
  • Mechanical Technician Diploma/Certificate or Journeyman Certificate in a Mechanical Field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial field or as an Enbridge Mechanical Technician.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Maximo, MS Office, and equipment analysis software.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Above-average analytical skills.
