Airswift is seeking a Operational Logistics Manager to work on a Permanent position in Rio de Janeiro with an Oil and Gas Company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 
Create medium/long-term strategies, solutions and partnerships for the development of logistics bases and logistics in the region;
Functional Management: Carry out functional management of logistics teams including project logistics managers and coordinators, logistics-based teams. Lead, motivate and relocate our Logistics Operations team to achieve goals and objectives, as well as carry out career management, development and performance evaluation;
Act as regional focal point for bidding teams with regard to operational logistics in Brazil;
Prepare, together with the Operations Manager, readiness reviews of logistics bases before the start of execution of operational activities;
Plan and manage activities in shipyards, logistics bases and docks to deliver the assigned scope such as equipment preparation, mobilization, demobilization, spooling, etc.; Ensure that operations are planned and executed efficiently and safely;
Ensure costs and planning for internal and third-party services are tracked, managing your cost base;
Develop procedures and processes for managing logistics bases;
Develop indicators and analyze data to make results-oriented decisions;
Create an incident-free workplace culture by promoting safety and privacy as the first values for manufacturing staff and subcontractors.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS 
Advanced English;
Bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering, Administration, logistics or related areas;
Extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry desirable;
Relevant experience in Project Management, Operations and Logistics Sites;
Availability for travel and visits to sites, shipyards and operational bases.
Good experience in managing teams with at least 10 people;
Motivation and adaptation to work with sudden changes and fluid environments;
Execution oriented with decision making skills;
Communication and organization skills.
