As we embark on a significant project involving the decommissioning and dismantling of the Mantua Refinery in Mantova, we are seeking a dedicated Piping supervisor to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the project duration.

 

 

Position Overview:

As a Piping Supervisor, you will play a critical role in managing and coordinating piping activities during the refinery decommissioning and dismantling project. You will be responsible for supervising piping crews, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications, and maintaining the highest quality standards. Your leadership and expertise in piping operations will be essential in achieving project objectives safely and efficiently.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate piping activities, including installation, maintenance, and repair, in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide leadership and direction to piping crews, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations.
  • Review piping drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and schedule piping activities effectively.
  • Monitor work progress and productivity to ensure timely completion of tasks and milestones.
  • Conduct regular inspections of piping installations and systems to identify and address issues or deficiencies.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of piping materials and equipment to prevent damage or loss.
  • Maintain accurate records of piping activities, including work hours, materials used, and progress reports.
  • Train and mentor piping personnel to enhance their skills and performance.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Piping Supervisor in a refinery, petrochemical, or similar industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Familiarity with piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.3, API 570).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret piping drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in safety procedures and regulations related to piping operations.
  • Prior experience in refinery decommissioning and dismantling projects is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications or training in piping supervision or related fields are desirable.
