Service supervised by n+2 : FPSO ENGINEERING LEADER Service dimensions The Process Engineer position is part of the Topsides Engineering team.
LIFEX department is managing all Debottlenecking Projects and Life extension Projects.
The LIFEX Process engineering focuses on FPSO TOPSIDES engineering matters in a Brownfield context.
LIFEX project Budget: ~ 1000 MUSD for GIRASSOL / ~ 1000 MUSD for DALIA Project duration: 2 to 3 years

Activities
He/she shall ensure that SOR, Project Specifications and Procedures, Company General Specifications and international codes are well followed for the design of the modifications/integrations to be performed in the frame of the Projects. The activities include in particular:
1. Perform process calculations (H&M balances, valve sizing, compressor curves digitalization & ProII/ Unisim simulations)
2. Extract data from PI (TOTALENERGIES internal operating software) and be able to perform a consistent mapping/analysis.
3. Analyse process output and support lead for process discussions and presentations to the other discipline.
4. To perform process work and propose design optimizations when possible.
5. Support the Process Leader to review process Contractor deliverables (PFDs, UFDs, PIDs, process CN, equipment datasheets), review and propose answer to possible technical queries related to his/her discipline.
6. Support the Process Leader to write and present process technical reports (Memo, executive summary, Derogations, etc).
7. Keep regular meeting and communication with his/her lead to follow up the key topics progress, explain main comments and identify any blocking points.
8. Participate in process meeting when needed. 9. Participate and contribute with process & safety studies (e.g.: HAZOP, HAZID, etc).
10. Participate and contribute to QR process discipline presentations.
11. Contribute to the value enhancement projects (GHG emission, Life extension…). 12. Participate on technical evaluations process.
13. On top of that also: a. Ensure that safe and ethic working practices are carried out within the different activities performed or interfacing with. To guarantee the compliance on his/her activities. b. Ensure that state of the art, TEPA referential and local rules/laws are complied with and captured in all contractual requirements. c. Work by anticipation.
d. With the spirit of One TOTALENERGIES values, to establish and manage his/her activities motivating his counterparts and to work diligently to meet the targets of the Projects.
e. Promote safety culture within the project and his/her activities.

Context and environment PBF is the brownfield project division of TEPA and benefits of a matrix organization. It’s managing projects from FEED/Basic Engineering to Startup/ hand-over to Block Field Operation teams. The nature of the brownfield projects, i.e. most of the execution activities offshore are executed in SIMOPS on live FPSOs (Girassol, Dalia, Pazflor, CLOV on Block 17, Kaombo Norte and Sul on Block 32 and Begonia on Block 17/06) and congested seabed, increases the risks and consequently the challenges of the projects (coactivities with other projects and maintenance activities, minimization of production shortfalls…). 2/2 PBF is managing EPC contracts with major international Contractors but also local players including onshore prefabrication in Angola, offshore construction and Installation (FPSO modifications, SURF, SPS, SIMOPS, high number of contractors & subcontractors). Within PBF projects portfolio, the GIRASSOL and DALIA life extension projects are aiming to extend the life of the GIRASSOL/ROSA and DALIA fields for an extra 10 years. The GIRASSOL Life extension project consists of an extent of different type of activities (Maintenance works, pipeworks, hull repair, flexibles replacement, ICSS upgrade, flowlines change out, XT change out, addition of bearing pads, mooring chains replacement, wells intervention, etc.) split into Packages. The different work packages are attributed to different entities within Affiliate and not to one single entity for the full scope.

DALIA CLOSED FLARE RETROFIT is part of the DALIA LIFEX project. Topsides modification scope consider the LP compressor rebundling and installation of the closed flare module with fast opening valves on the flare stacks and new flare gas recovery unit and the change of the blanketing gas of the Crude Oil Tanks.

Accountabilities
The Service holder shall: • be able to follow and provide support to lead discipline on all the main process subjects related to any project  (Closed Flares, LifeX Projects, etc)
• adopt & demonstrate exemplary behaviour with regards to:
o HSEQ rules & requirements o Company Ethics & Golden rules
o deliver high quality documents as per defined planning enabling to guarantee a good practical and theoretical hand-over to the FO permanent teams.
o respect & to commit on planning o guarantee the implementation of a quality policy ensuring the operability of the production facilities. o ensure integration of new equipment in existing facilities.
Qualifications/Experience required
Professional Experience: 10 years in Oil & Gas industry with experience in Offshore operations and engineering.
FPSO and/or Brownfield experience are preferred.
Level / Diploma: Degree in Chemical Engineering. Languages: English mandatory
