Our client, a major  EPCM within the mining industry, is looking for a Procurement Advisor to work on a 12-months contract in Perth, WA

Their role involves finding key suppliers, negotiating contracts, and streamlining the procurement process.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Liaising with internal project teams and maintaining strong supplier relations.
  • Evaluating products and suppliers based on key business criteria.
  • Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms and conditions.
  • Issuing purchase orders and agreements.
  • Monitoring supplier performance, resolving issues, and ensuring quality standards.
  • Analyzing industry trends and supporting senior management in sourcing strategies.
  • Preparing EOI documentation during DES
  • Preparing budget quotation documentation
  • Maintain the DES budget quotation register.
  • Preparing and issuing tender documentation
  • Maintain Service/Purchase Order registers for Site purchasing purposes.
Main requirements:
  • Proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of purchasing strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business application software.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
