- Procurement Analyst

- Negotiable rates depending on experience
- Working – M- F 8 hours per day
- To ensure that all Procurement Planning and Reporting activities are in Compliance with Company’s standards and procedures and to co-ordinate with all Procurement data-gathering.
- All employees are responsible for performing their duties in a responsible manner in keeping with company’s HSEQ Policy.
- Prepare and maintain Procurement Plan for C&P
- Prepare a planning meeting schedule for all User Departments with schedule consistent with required activities
- Ensure data validity and integrity of the C&P Planning Data and Systems, performing exception reports and verifying results with relevant Dept. focal points.
- Monitor the consistency between the Procurement Plan and Company’s activities.
- Act as point of contact for any specific issues concerning Planning and Monitoring Procurement Cycle.
- Act as point of contact for any specific issues concerning expediting activity for User Depts.
- Conduct strategic analysis of Procurement and Planning activity.
- Compile reports in accordance with APR, EAL management and auditor’s reporting requirements
- Prepare bi-annual C&P report.
- Contribute to the ongoing analytical work to support Management. (KPIs etc).
- Develop and maintain C&P “how to” documentation.
- Any other duties as may be reasonably required in support of the line manager.
- Reports to C&P Manager
- The job holder liaises with all levels of staff including User Depts, Finance, HR and HSE at all locations within the company seeking and exchanging information
- The job holder liaises with all levels of staff within the C&P Department
- Acts as Focal Point for all the Procurement Planning and Monitoring activities with APRU.
External:
- Principal contacts with wide range of external contractors/service providers to seek/exchange information.
- Occasionally assistance in liaising with government regulatory authorities.
- Ideally Tertiary qualification in (law, economics, engineering preferred) or higher degree or other suitable experience.
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in reporting and planning role.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in working for a major oil company in the Exploration & Production business area.
- Familiarity with contract and procurement methods, terminology and processes;
- Very good performance orientation with close attention to detail;
- Team player capability, frequent interaction with all other User Departments;
- Very good internal auditing/monitoring skills;
- Ability to produce concise and accurate reports;
- High degree of computer literacy and proven skills in Microsoft, Visio, Project, Word, Excel, Power Point programs;
