Airswift is now recruiting for a Subsea Project Engineer who will work for a global leader in providing technologies for the traditional and new energy industry by delivering fully integrated projects, products and services. You will join the multicultural team in Paris, France. Within the Project Resources Department and attached to the Engineering Division, reporting to the Project Engineering Manager on Project, the Project Engineer is responsible for the successful execution of the assigned project package by coordinating all the disciplines involved such as engineering, procurement, inspection, testing, transport, etc., in accordance with TechnipFMC QHSES corporate policies, contractual commitments (design data, codes, classes etc.), schedule and budget.

Job description

• Role and responsibilities
  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering and procurement interfaced activities
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
  • Interact daily with the internal clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with the Package Delivery Manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
  • Identify and report potential variations to the SOW with client and/or with vendors/subcontractors as well as risks and opportunities.
• Key interactions
  • Internally: all engineering and non-engineering disciplines (procurement, construction), Group engineering centers, planning.
  • Externally: clients, subcontractors, vendors, partners, authorities, licensors

• The position is in Paris - La Defense, France

You are meant for this job if
 
  • Candidate must possess at least a BS degree in Engineering or relevant field
  • Proven working experience as a Project Engineer oil and gas engineering.
  • Good in workload management skills and has an experience in leadership or people management.
  • Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
  • Project management and supervision skills
  • Excellent command of the English language, both orally and written
  • Decision making ability and leadership skills
  • Current engineer license, if applicable
  • Time management and organization skills
  • Understands work product and services provided by the company
  • To be mobile for short duration trips
• Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the country, without sponsorship.
