The role:
As a Project Leader/Consultant for Water Systems, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide array of projects within this expansive field, encompassing both process and content. These projects span surface water, groundwater, and urban water and are undertaken for a variety of clients. In this role, you'll be the primary contact for our clients, entrusted with overseeing project progress, cost control, and maintaining the highest quality standards.
This dynamic role places you in a pivotal position within the team, allowing you to actively contribute to the team's continued growth and development. In summary, you will play a significant role in furthering the expansion and professionalization of our water systems team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage project activities, including coordination, cost control, and quality assurance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining relationships and overseeing project progress.
- Acquire new projects by utilizing your extensive network.
- Provide substantive advice within the field of water systems, drawing upon your expertise.
- Contribute to the professional development and growth of the water systems team.
Qualifications:
- A higher vocational/university level degree (HBO/WO) in Water Management or Civil Engineering.
- At least seven years of experience in water systems.
- Experience in leading projects and providing substantive advice within the water systems field.
- Strong communication skills and an eye for quality.
- The ability to prioritize effectively.
- An extensive network that empowers you to secure new assignments.
- Enthusiasm and drive, which we consider fundamental in this role.
- The capability to discern the actual needs of clients and extract the best from your team.
- Willingness to work from various locations in addition to your regular work location (Haarlem or Sliedrecht).
- Proficiency in English and Dutch is required.
