The Role:
Are you up for a challenge? As a Project Leader in Mechanical Engineering, you will take on the responsibility of leading design teams in areas such as building installation concepts, feasibility studies, and energy advisory studies. This can encompass projects in education, offices, leisure, distribution centers, data centers, public transport, business accommodations, and complex housing construction. You'll lead various project teams, motivating them to achieve the highest possible results by applying your knowledge and experience in mechanical engineering. Your role involves ensuring that projects remain within budget and adhere to schedules while making a significant contribution to the sustainability of our society. Actively participating in the design team and maintaining extensive contact with clients and other project partners, such as architects and structural engineers, is integral to your role. You'll also play a key role in the quotation phase, working in collaboration with colleagues, project partners, and clients to develop project proposals that set us apart from our competitors in the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead design teams in installation design and oversee the implementation of electrical installations in various markets including education, offices, leisure, distribution centers, data centers, public transport, business accommodations, and housing complexes.
  • Motivate project teams to achieve the highest possible results through your knowledge and experience in electrical engineering.
  • Ensure projects are kept within budget and schedule.
  • Contribute to sustainability efforts within society.
  • Actively participate in the design team and maintain extensive contact with clients and other project team partners such as architects and structural engineers.
  • Play an essential role in the quotation phase, collaborating with colleagues, project partners, and clients to develop project proposals that differentiate us in the market.

Qualifications:

  • We're seeking someone with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a passion for installation technology.
  • You should have at least an HBO-level of education.
  • In your role, you'll lead the most complex projects while being open to considering potential innovations.
  • You excel in listening to understand the underlying needs of clients, allowing you to meet their expectations.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Technical proficiency and the ability to express your ideas clearly.
  • A drive to find the most suitable solutions for highly challenging projects.
