The role:
As a Project Leader/Consultant - Upkeep/Inspections, you will be responsible for all organizational and technical activities within the projects of our client's Maintenance Department. You will lead the team and take care of project planning, ensuring quality and scope for each project. Your responsibilities also include budget-related tasks like budget preparation and quotations. Your role will require continuous communication with the client's project manager to ensure project alignment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the team and oversee project planning.
- Ensure project quality and scope.
- Handle budget tasks, including budget preparation and quotations.
- Maintain regular contact with the client's project manager.
- Prepare design specifications and coordinate designs within assigned projects.
- Identify additional or reduced work and prepare cost estimates.
- Provide monthly reports to the management and Sector Head of 'Instandhouding' on project pre-financing.
- Offer advisory services related to upkeep, dealing with existing and new civil engineering works and providing management and maintenance advice.
- Serve clients such as municipalities, the Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management (Rijkswaterstaat), provinces, ProRail, contractors, and water boards.
- Conduct inspections, interpret damage, assess risks regarding reliability, availability, and safety, and formulate upkeep advice and policy plans.
- Use advanced recording and data from drones, scanners, and sensors to work closely with designers, structural engineers, measurement and monitoring consultants, and asset management risk analysts.
What do we expect of you?
- You must have a higher vocational (HBO) degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, supplemented with extensive experience in the inspection sector.
- A minimum of three years of experience in a project manager role in infrastructural projects is required.
- You possess a strong sense of responsibility and a solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent command of the Dutch language is a requirement for this position.
