Our client is seeking a Senior Brand & Digital Specialist to work within their facilities located in Brisbane QLD, Australia.


The Company

Our client is a global Energy company based in the CBD. As a result of ongoing technology upgrades they are looking for an experienced individual to join their business on a contract to work in an digital branding focused role.


The Role

As the Senior Brand and Digital Specialist, you'll spearhead the company's brand and digital presence. Your primary focus will be delivering creative services across the business units to enhance communication for various department initiatives, with a special emphasis on HSE, field operations, and HR, as well as senior leadership and internal clients.

In this role, you'll showcase your expertise in translating complex ideas into compelling visual solutions across multiple platforms. Creativity will be your forte, coupled with a keen understanding of corporate dynamics, exceptional communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset. This position is contract-based, initially spanning a 24-month period



From a technical perspective you will be expected to;

  • Spearhead the development of the company's brand strategy to enhance our reputation among stakeholders and align with strategic priorities and goals
  • Oversee all digital channels within the business units to ensure they accurately reflect company brand and deliver optimal user experiences for stakeholders engaging with these platforms.
  • Enhancing the brand and digital presence of the company and its business units.
  • Lead the formulation of the brand strategy, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with our Global Corporate brand.
  • Drive the local digital channel strategy and manage content across platforms such as the website, consultation hub, social media, and intranet.
  • Establish and oversee an in-house design studio catering to communication design needs across the local business units.
  • Translate company messages into compelling visuals that leave a lasting impact.
  • Elevate individual employee communication by developing toolkits, templates, and offering training sessions.
  • Collaborate with HR to enrich the culture through innovative initiatives.
  • Provide proactive mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering their growth in digital content creation, UX/CX, and project management domains.
  • Offer strategic guidance and innovative solutions to colleagues, internal stakeholders, and leadership to ensure the utilization of optimal visual tools for enhancing communications effectively.
  • Oversee digital and brand projects such as website redevelopment initiatives, from conceptualization to execution, employing comprehensive project management methodologies and fostering close collaboration with the Corporate Brand & Digital Team.
  • Develop and implement resources and training modules to improve communication skills across all employees and streamline the creation of 'on-brand' presentations company-wide.
  • Manage the internal brand approval process, liaising with Corporate brand partners as necessary.
  • Identify and engage external creative vendors, providing clear briefs and overseeing their work to ensure alignment with project objectives and brand standards.



  • Hold tertiary qualifications in visual arts, communication design, marketing, or a related field.
  • Possess demonstrated experience in devising intricate communication solutions within a corporate setting.
  • Bring a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in brand and digital management.
  • Showcase expertise in utilizing digital creative software and digital video/animation tools, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe CS).
  • Exhibit proficient skills in photography and videography.
  • Demonstrate the capacity to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders to address complex communication challenges and devise innovative solutions.
  • Display robust project management capabilities, including the ability to oversee digital development projects across diverse channels.
  • Possess strong facilitation and presentation abilities to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Communicate fluently, both in written and verbal forms.
  • Maintain a track record of meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Embrace teamwork and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Encourage and promote creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives within the team..
