Our client seeks a Senior Civil Designer to work on a pipeline of projects, Perth based.
They will be asking you to provide design expertise and produce drawings for a variety of roads and drainage solutions across plant and camp.
You can also expect to be:

Monitoring progress of your work against the project schedule.
Proactively identifying and reporting on any potential deviations from agreed scope of works.

About you:

Advanced Diploma, Diploma or Associate Degree.
Proficiency with MicroStation and 2D Drawing.
Civil design experience gained in a major project setting, it doesn’t need to be in mining.
Working knowledge of challenges associated with roads and drainage design.
Great interpersonal skills to influence, negotiate & build productive relationships.
A keen eye for detail & a knack for problem-solving.
Current right to work in Australia.

This opportunity is available for individuals with 5 or more years Civil Design experience. If you have some experience mentoring and supervising, or feel that it’s time to take that next step in your career, we’re open to discussions around a fast-tracked pathway to a Senior role.

Responsibilities:

Produce detailed design drawings, capital cost estimates, and a full suite of study deliverables.
Operate independently while having access to a principal for technical guidance.
Be responsible for project deliverables, demonstrating capability at a Senior level.
Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
Be an effective communicator, liaising directly with Engineering Managers, Project Managers, and Estimators.
Contribute to a variety of rail projects for different clients, including major projects and sustaining capital initiatives.
Possess knowledge of Pilbara Operator standards, as these differ significantly from Australian Standards.
Embrace a traditional consultancy role and seize opportunities for growth within Client's Company.
Apply true technical design engineering experience, with a strong focus on design rather than operations or maintenance.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably with qualifications verified by Engineers Australia if obtained overseas.
A minimum of 3-7 years of technical design engineering experience.
Familiarity with Pilbara Operator standards, distinct from Australian Standards.
Ability to work independently, taking initiative and showcasing problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Willingness to work on diverse rail projects for various clients, encompassing both major projects and sustaining capital initiatives.

Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to work on a 12-month assignment in Geelong, VIC.

Responsibilities:

Initiate, manage, and potentially supervise electrical engineering project requirements.

Knowledge of relevant local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.
Competent use of electrical engineering software.
Proficiency in relevant software, including the MS Office Suite.
Substantial hands-on experience in electrical engineering within a similar industry, including multidisciplinary project and team collaboration.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Recognized and relevant engineering degree.
Preferred: Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
RPEV or RPEQ registration or eligibility for registration.
Relevant postgraduate qualifications in engineering, management, project management, or equivalent supervisory qualifications.
