SENIOR ELECTRICAL DESIGNER

Airswift is seeking for Senior Electrical Designer - to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas Company.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver electrical engineering services, its customers, and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
Perform electrical design services such as: identify and report changes to project scope.

contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions.
assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports.

Keep up to date with the latest developments and technical innovations in electrical engineering.
Communicate effectively with the electrical engineering team, GID (Global Integrated Delivery) team and project stakeholders, including the customer.
Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.
Ability to interpret client specifications.
Coordinate/Communicate with other disciplines.
Familiarity of applicable codes to support engineering deliverables.
Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system

Qualification:

Minimum 12+ years of experience. ETAP & 3D a must
Experience with SPEL, AutoCAD and Microstation design software packages, AVEVA 2D/3D is a plus.
Ability to develop detailed drawings for lighting; small power and earthing systems; HV/LV single line diagrams; wiring and control schematic diagram; AC/DC distribution panels, process area electrical equipment layouts, substation and switchyard layouts, cable tray, above grade and underground cable layouts, duct bank sizing and layouts, preparation of installation details, grounding plans, lightning layouts.
Cable schedules, cable pulling calculations, cable tray sizing calculations, cable selection & sizing calculations.

Successful delivery track record managing multiple large scale production line will be advantageous.
In-depth knowledge of Lean principles tools and improvement techniques coupled with a proven track record of implementing.

Airswift is seeking for Principal Offshore Electrical Engineer - Offshore - to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas Company.

Qualification:

A recognized and relevant engineering degree.
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
Relevant postgraduate qualifications in engineering; management, project management or supervisory qualifications or equivalent.
Minimum 15+ years of experience in Brown Field Oil and Gas related offshore projects. 3D Review Software: Navisworks, SPR.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage electrical engineering services and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
Manage electrical engineering project requirements.
Manage electrical engineering services such as:
Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and comply with required checking procedures.
Ensure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes.
Provide advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. For example, oversee requisitions, technical bid evaluations and purchase order preparation.
Act as the electrical engineering Lead on specific projects.
If responsible for a team:
outline project requirements including actively promoting workshare, where appropriate, assign tasks and supervise progress; and ensure the required services, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, on time and within budget.
Keep up to date with the latest developments and technical innovations in electrical engineering.
If required, assist and support junior personnel within the electrical engineering team.
Communicate effectively with the electrical engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer.
Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.
