Duration: Until Mid July 2024, with a possible 8-12 month extension following VLCC to FPSO conversion project that is currently in the execution phase.

Mission
The position involves conducting structured studies autonomously and managing a team of structural designers. Responsibilities include initiating internal and client interfaces, organizing team tasks, analyzing technical issues, proposing methodologies and solutions, designing structural solutions, integrating feedback, and ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets. Regular reporting to project leads is required. Projects include creating new ship structures and reinforcing existing ones. Deliverables include 3D models, detailed drawings, and material take-off reports. The role entails multiple revisions of deliverables based on client feedback and project developments until final approval. Fluency in French and English is necessary for communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
?Degree in Naval Architecture or similar
? AVEVA Marine Hull (the version used on the project is 12.1 SP5),
? Autocad,
? INVENTOR would be an added benefit (regarding some structures in the appendage of the hull).
? Proven and versatile knowledge of naval structure field,
? Knowledge of BV Ship and Offshore standards,
? Use of APIs and AISC.
?Fluent in French AND English
