Job title: Senior Manager Production Process

Position grade:

Head of Production Process

Job overview:
  • Build plants which deliver and competitive edge
  • Draft, Specify and project the plant & production technologies of the future
  • Develop technology and plants for >20-30 years of operation
Key accountabilities:
  • Develop production process of the future with focus on
    • Process optimization
    • Standard development
    • Product optimization
    • Product development
  • Consider the market needs, sustainability requirements, raw material supply, inbound and outbound logistics and manpower plans for creation of plans.
  • Collaborate with various functions not limited to Health safety & environment, network optimization, operations and product management.
  •  
  • Scout, specify, test and roll out more capable processes
  • Drive study and project execution - with leadership and state of the art project management
  • Define, train, roll out and supervise process and product standards
  • Build the  capable and sustainable processes in per plants and the t network
  • Develop & define new standard plant process based on new changing environment and process technology  “Fit for Future “
  • Propose plant process of the future
  • Compare existing processes/products with possible alternatives
  • Have a good understanding of FE/project methodology

  • Directors of Manufacturing, Heads of Manufacturing, Plant managers  BMI concrete Production Management
  • Other Supply Chain Leadership teams

  • Delivery of the right, prioritised, projects with scope linked to business value

Qualifications & Experiences Required:
  • Deep understanding of various manufacturing processes using natural raw materials
  • Deep insight on production technology trends and implications
  • Continuous production processes experience
  • Premium Degree; educated in an engineering related discipline (or equivalent qualification/experience).
  • > 15 years engineering experience (Process)
  • 5-10 years’ minimum experience in engineering leadership role in the a high volume or industrial industry
  • Track record of technology innovation - probably real break through innovations
Personal Attributes Required:
  • Strong leadership skills, strong capability to lead change
  • Multi cultural awareness (collaborative working style)
  • Independent and creative individual with the ability to think out of the box
  • (International) networking skills
  • Commercial awareness
