We're looking for someone with a keen interest in mine closure, rehabilitation and leaving a positive legacy within the mining industry. As the Project Manager, you will lead and support the delivery of mine closure projects, working with a tier 1 mining client. This role will see you take ownership of day to day deliverables, team leadership and achievement of time and budget objectives.
- Develop project goals and objectives by preparing management plans and milestones
- Ensure complete understanding, compliance and delivery to the scope of work assigned to the project position and ensure team members are assigned with roles and responsibilities to deliver to budget and schedule
- Establish the strategic direction for the project in line with business unit strategy
- Clarify key stakeholder needs and allocate resources to ensure the delivery of effective outcomes
- Control the financial management of the project by overseeing budget expenditure and conducting regular reviews against plan and budget
- Bachelor of Engineering degree (4+ year duration) accredited by Engineers Australia
- 12+years of relevant Senior experience, with a minimum 5 years of proven Project Management experience
- Ability to liaise with all relevant stakeholders to produce and review packages of work
- Proven project delivery experience (EPCM) on major multi discipline projects

Responsibilities:
- Initiate, manage, and potentially supervise electrical engineering project requirements.
- Participate in meetings, prepare progress reports, and ensure compliance with checking procedures.
- Ensure project scope clarity and adherence to change management processes.
- Provide guidance and support during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities, including requisition writing, technical bid evaluations, and purchase order creation.
- Act as the electrical engineering Lead on specific projects if needed.
- When leading a team, define project requirements, promote workshare, assign tasks, and oversee progress.
- Stay current with the latest developments and innovations in electrical engineering.
- Offer assistance and mentorship to junior team members when required.
- Foster effective communication with the electrical engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer.

About You:
Technical and Industry Experience:
- Proficiency in technical and practical engineering skills, consistently delivering quality, accurate, and timely work to Client's Company and customers.
- Solid understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and basic requirements of other engineering fields.
- Knowledge of relevant local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Competent use of electrical engineering software.
- Proficiency in relevant software, including the MS Office Suite.
- Substantial hands-on experience in electrical engineering within a similar industry, including multidisciplinary project and team collaboration.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
- Recognized and relevant engineering degree.
- Preferred: Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.

Our client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designers to work within their facilities located in Perth, WA on a 12-month initial contract (Opportunities to grow and become part of a solid team).
Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled Mechanical Designers to join our clients high performing team to contribute to Brownfields optimization projects in the mining sector. The successful candidate will primarily focus on detailed design for one of W. A's major mining giant's beneficiation plants on site.
It is envisioned that the successful candidate will bring MicroStation proficiency and previous experience working on mining projects in an EPCM environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the project team to develop efficient design / piping layouts for brownfields optimization projects.
- Conduct detailed design activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Participate in the study period to gather necessary information and perform feasibility assessments.
- Contribute to the optimization of mine output by proposing innovative solutions and design improvements.
- Work closely with other disciplines to ensure effective coordination and integration of design elements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide necessary support.
What you will bring:
- 2 - 5 years previous experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in the mining industry - very desirable
- Strong background in materials handling and familiarity with associated equipment.
- Proficiency in MicroStation software for drafting and design tasks.
- 3D piping experience is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate and high-quality design documentation.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices.
