Our client is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to work within their facilities located in Houston, TX, for an initial 6-month assignment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payroll accurately and on time
  • Calculate and input employee hours, deductions, bonuses, and other payroll-related data into the payroll system.
  • Review and verify payroll data for accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Initiate wage payment, tax, and garnishment file transfers
  • Stay up to date with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations
  • Ensure compliance with payroll tax reporting and filings, including W-2s.
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reconciliations and reportings.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to Accounting and Finance
  • Assist in the implementation of payroll best practices and process improvements.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries.
  • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist employees with payroll-related forms and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and organized payroll records, including employee information, tax forms, and payroll reports.
  • Safeguard sensitive payroll data and ensure confidentiality.
  • Perform regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Required Skills:
  • SAP GUI and/or Web GUI experience is required.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central experience is required.
  • ADP SmartCompliance experience preferred.
  • Restricted stock equity processing
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus.
  • Global payroll experience is a plus.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects/priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.), Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, etc.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills with strong decision-making capability.
Education/Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field is preferred.
