Our client is a leading engineering and technology energy company committed to delivering some of the energy industry's largest and most complex projects.
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior Piping Engineer to join a dynamic team, based in their Perth office, and play a key role in market leading offshore energy project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the piping engineering activities for the project from concept through to execution.
- Develop piping specifications, design criteria, and standards in compliance with industry codes and regulations.
- Prepare piping layouts, isometrics, and material take-offs.
- Perform piping stress analysis and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of piping systems with other project components.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in piping engineering for offshore projects.
- Proficiency in piping design software such as AutoCAD, PDMS, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes (e.g., ASME, API, ISO).
- Experience with piping stress analysis software (e.g., Caesar II) is preferred.
