Our client is a leading engineering and technology energy company committed to delivering some of the energy industry's largest and most complex projects.
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior Structural Designer to join a dynamic team, based in their Perth office, and play a key role in market leading offshore energy project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the structural design activities from concept through to execution.
- Develop detailed structural designs, including calculations, drawings, and specifications, in compliance with industry codes and standards.
- Utilize PDMS software to create 3D models of structural components and systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of structural designs with other project components.
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and project meetings as required.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- Diploma or degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in structural design for offshore oil and gas projects.
- Proficiency in PDMS software is essential.
- Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (e.g., API, AISC, DNV).
- Experience with structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD Pro) is preferred.
