Airswift is currently looking for a Structural Engineer, for one of our largest projects in Monaco. This position has a Monday-Friday schedule. The length is a 12-month contract with the possibility of an extension. The Structural Engineer will hold responsibility for:
- Understanding, planning, and delivering assigned tasks with accuracy within the agreed time frame
- Identifying areas requiring more detailed instructions and clarifying understanding/expectation as necessary with Discipline Lead; ensure no surprises
- Developing engineering documents in a manner that the design intent can be interpreted correctly
- Completing tasks in compliance with applicable engineering codes, industry standards/regulations and work procedures
- Proactively interfacing with Discipline Lead and peers for resolving issues, sharing information and progress
- Seeking clarification or guidance as soon as difficulties arise; recommend alternative solutions
- Performing thorough self-check of all deliverables prior to submission for review/approval
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering
- Knowledge of FEMAP and Genie is a plus
- Minimum 5 years of experience
