The objective of this position: apply system knowledge, Engineering knowledge and experience to set up, configure, maintain, troubleshoot and administer the AVEVA Engineering system as per project requirement
Responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Reports to Group Lead of Engineering and Design Section in Engineering Management department and report to Systems Lead and Product Manager when assigned to a project role.
- Be the Single Point of Contact for all matters related to set up, maintenance, administration, system upgrade and troubleshooting of the AVEVA Engineering system for the project.
- Shall have sound knowledge on integration of various AVEVA tools such as AVEVA Electrical, AVEVA Instrumentation, AVEVA P&ID, AVEVA Engineering, AVEVA E3D etc.
- Coordinate with the Systems Lead and engineering disciplines to the assigned project and work closely with project management, procurement, HSE, QA/QC, operations and construction team and meet or where possible to exceed on-time deliverables maintaining the quality and safety in each activity.
- Shall be capable of developing customized solutions in AVEVA Engineering and developing Work Instructions for users of AVEVA Engineering.
- The incumbent shall support assigned projects to ensure smooth production of deliverables from AVEVA Engineering and delivery of the AVEVA Engineering database to operations and clients.
- Shall manage the AVEVA Engineering system licensing and upgrades as per project requirements
- Support project management in review, risk assessment and close-out of AVEVA systems issues.
- Support Product Manager in delivering AVEVA Engineering solutions on projects.
- Shall train the company and Engineering subcontractor’s users on AVEVA Engineering application in projects.
- Interface with all disciplines to clarify/explain AVEVA design intent and suggest alternatives when the need arises.
- Participate in Project/Engineering/Vendor kick-off meetings.
- Day to day Planning of work.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer Science
- Certification(s): Training in AVEVA Engineering administration
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the application of AVEVA Engineering in onshore/offshore Oil & Gas area or FPSO line(s).
- Specialist knowledge of AVEVA Engineering and its integration with other AVEVA tools.
- Have adequate knowledge of regulatory requirements.
- Regularly in touch with vendors for new/updated product design.
- Familiar in the use of Software, Database systems related to engineering functions.
