The Role:
Join a dynamic Information Management team at a client committed to supporting the energy transition. As a Technical Information Manager/Information Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming the company into a data, information, and knowledge-driven organization, backed by digital automation. In this rapidly growing team, you will focus on information management for engineering and procurement projects, shaping the digital ecosystem and ensuring widespread knowledge utilization.


  • Analyze clients' IM requirements and explore new technologies aligned with these needs.
  • Manage client contacts related to IM, aligning progress and implications with project managers.
  • Align technical systems and business processes with IM client requirements.
  • Oversee data exchange, lead development efforts of new tools, and manage in-house data flows.
  • Implement and review tagging systems for efficient data organization.

Outside client projects, responsibilities may include:

  • Aligning engineering and procurement processes with digital tools.
  • Maintaining and expanding the company's data and software architecture.
  • Guiding the development of in-house ontology and innovative engineering databases.
  • Scope and manage the procurement and implementation of new tools and software.
  • Development of information and data pipelines and tools.
  • Ensuring compliance with ontology, information, and security standards.


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering or information sciences subject.
  • Minimum of 3 years of provable experience in information management.
  • Affinity with detailed engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience or knowledge of EPC projects, offshore wind, BIM, Python, Ontologies, Industry standard ontologies (CFIHOS, IEC CIM, and ISO 15926), data architecture, enterprise architecture, reference design systems (RDS), and API’s are a plus.
