Wind Energy Analyst

• Review and approve project documents.
• Assuring consistent application of standards and manages the control of any justifiable deviations.
• Liaise effectively with other functions (Projects, Project Services, HSE, legal, Maintenance and Operations, e.g.).
• Accountable for the quality of technical work and for the technical integrity, constructability, functionality, safe operation and reliability of designs.
• Support electrical engineers of Engineering Contractors and Construction Contractors.

• Establish a safety-first culture to the project.
• Provide Engineering and Construction expertise.
• Ensuring delivery to agreed quality standards, schedule and cost.
• Build an excellent relationship and interface with OWNERs project
  team and design/construction contractors.
• Manage support with respect to HSE, Design Reviews, Quality Assurance and Control.
• Implement the relevant engineering standards, capture lessons learned through pre- and post-project reviews, implement quality, and provide specialized technical support to projects and also to operations and maintenance.

• 15+ years engineering and Brownfield/Greenfield work experience
• Good negotiation skills.
• Good planning skills.
• Good knowledge of policies, procedures and best practices in the areas his/her discipline.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Good people management.
• An HSE driven mindset.
• Working experience on the entire project life cycle (from conceptual design through to final commissioning and handover).
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Good communication skills and aptitude for taking initiatives are essential.
• Manage and support of Electrical installation contractors.
• Manage and support electrical engineers of Engineering Contractors.
• Thorough knowledge of projects and his discipline within engineering
• Applied Knowledge of Dutch and European Norms.
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields.

The role 

As a Buyer, you will be responsible for you will be responsible for purchasing a wide variety engineered and non-engineered materials and equipment (and associated services) on a competitive basis as required by project or Company needs. Broad experience, particularly in procurement activities typical to the engineering, construction, energy, chemical and resources sectors is required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards in project settings.
• Possesses a University Degree in supply chain, law, business administration, quantity surveying/construction management, or a related discipline; MCIPS/RIQS accreditation is highly regarded.
• Extensive experience in contracts and procurement for major projects within EPCM/EPC organisations.
• Proven ability to develop and execute procurement strategies, and to negotiate terms and conditions effectively.
• Experience with project and procurement software systems, maintaining a rigorous approach to data management; familiarity with Aveva ERM, Requis, and Aconex is a significant advantage.
