We are absolutely delighted that our APAC team were awarded best overseas operation at the GRAPAC awards. We are proud of our work throughout the region and were specifically honoured to be recognised for our work in Papua New Guinea and commended for our McDermott recruitment and localisation campaign in Malaysia.
The McDermott campaign showcased the innovative ways we have used social media and talent mapping to find the best candidates and our work in PNG demonstrates our active approach to long term relationship building and commitment to the local communities we serve.
We place hundreds of PNG citizens annually and play an active part in economic development through our partnership with key industries and government. Our partnership with the PNG Cancer Foundation goes from strength to strength and we are launching our Pink Ribbon cancer education event on 24th October. We are proud to have been recognised for these efforts by the PNG Government who issued us the prestigious Good Corporate Citizenship Award. We are the only company in our sector to have received it.
Although we are the winners of best overseas operation, we don’t consider our activity as overseas but a localised hub of our global business. Our geographic spread ensures the same high level of service and core values no matter where you deal with us.
Throughout the wider APAC region, it means a lot to be recognised as a great company to work with and a great place to work. We are expanding in China, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia and looking for the brightest and best to help establish as the number 1 staffing provider to the energy, process and infrastructure sectors.
Airswift is a fantastic employer and they have provided opportunities in 4 continents to establish my international leadership skills. With a team comprising 17 different nationalities, I am focused on growing new leaders with a similarly global approach.
