Socially responsible

Around the world, we work with many charities to partake in good cause programs. We launched the 1st virtual Global Relay for Life event so all our offices could raise funds and get active. We split into teams by region and raised over $43,000 USD to support nine American Cancer Society partner agencies and collectively walked 3,241 miles.

In 2016, we raised $23,797 USD for Cancer Research UK and Kenya Cancer Association, a huge effort from Team Europe & Africa in London, Manchester, Paris, Norway, Angola and Ghana.

The Academy is a program designed to take entrepreneurial sales minded people and turn them into top level consultants. We are hiring a class of 12 bright individuals to begin training on November 20, 2017 taking place in Houston, TX. Applicants should have a minimum 1-3 years of sales or customer service experience. When I pause to look back on where my journey with Airswift started and where I am today, it is a testament to the company, the way that it actively promotes from within and primarily focuses on developing its own staff. My background was in sales and client management (Real Estate & Financial Services) which led me to Kazakhstan, where in 2010 I joined Airswift in an entry level Business Development position. It quickly became clear to me that the work we do is not only immensely interesting, varied and rewarding, but it also has a very real impact on the many people that we deal with throughout the world. From helping our candidates secure often life-changing positions to contributing to our clients successfully delivering their projects, the work we do makes a positive difference every single day.

Through hard work and the support of my various managers, my journey has continued through several positions, Global Account Manager / Country Manager / Delivery Manager, and my current role as a Country Director. Airswift has also allowed me to combine career progression with my passion for travel, with assignments in The Netherlands, the UK and my current location in the UAE. Many of my peers and colleagues have taken similar journeys, and from a personal development aspect, Airswift provides a great platform for anyone that wants to succeed and determine their own path. The very real policy of promoting from within and giving people the time and support to flourish makes it a company that I am still very passionate about being a part of.

I joined Airsiwft in 2000 and have been fortunate to truly experience the company’s global reach. I started as a Logistics Co-ordinator in Kazakhstan before progressing to the role of Operations Manager and moving to the UK in 2002.

My role within the organisation changed dramatically over the next 8 years whilst working in London, eventually becoming Group Management Accountant. In 2010, I moved to Perth, Australia to help the company in implementing new systems and processes before moving to Singapore to further my department’s growing needs.

In January 2016, I was promoted to Finance Director for Asia Pacific, my current position within Airswift. I currently live in Singapore with my husband, 16 month old daughter and a Shih Tzu. I am extremely proud that I have built my career, with help from my peers and managers, from the bottom up. The knowledge I gained helps me a lot in my current role and it also shows that hard work does pay off.

I landed in Asia 10 years ago for an academic exchange and never left the region! I’ve now been with the business since 2012. I started as a Country Manager for Singapore looking after a portfolio of drilling contractor clients. I’m now a Director of 5 of our entities across South East Asia, one of the fastest growing regions in the world.

I spend most of my time between our offices in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Bangkok, building a strong team of customer-focus individuals and pitching our suite of solutions to existing clients and new prospects.

Airswift has given me the opportunity to deal with the biggest names in heavy industries and be exposed to the largest and most challenging projects ever built; I even got the chance to visit some of them!

I have also been able to travel the world to meet clients, train with peers and even just as a reward for performance.

“If it is to be, it’s up to me.” This is the quote that I heard from my dad my entire life from.  I was the typical young Texas girl whose father told her she could do anything she wanted to do, as long as she put the work behind it.

I started my journey with Airswift selling Direct Hire solutions in Houston. Coming from a real estate background, I quickly found the synergy from selling someone the largest purchase they would make in their life time, to helping someone find happiness and success in their career; their livelihood.

I fell in love with the fascinating intricacies of recruitment and understanding exactly what a client needs to build up their strongest asset; their people. From supplying companies with workforce solutions that improve their performance and position, to helping a single candidate secure a job that enables them to provide for their family, being in the business of people is an incredibly rewarding career.

I’m thankful to have served in a variety of roles, from recruiting to sales, to leadership in North America to my current role in Global Learning and Development.  If you would have told me that I would be in training 8 years ago, I probably would have laughed.  I’m grateful to Airswift for embracing innovation, promoting women in the workforce, and listening to their people. I began my career with Airswift in 2002 as a graduate trainee recruitment consultant within our Manchester office in the UK. I quickly realised that due to the level of training, the mentorship I received from management and the team ethos along with the professionalism of the company, Airswift was the organisation to be a part of and to grow with. Throughout the following years, I progressed to becoming a Senior Recruitment Consultant and then a Lead Recruitment Consultant resulting in an opportunity to transfer to our Calgary office in Canada as the Recruitment Manager in 2010.

Being part of the Airswift family for 15 years, I am extremely proud of the success we have achieved and to be part of a global industry leading organisation.
