JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The main mission of this position is the administrative area with a strong commercial presence and development and prospecting for new business.
Create, format and develop a new and/or existing customer platform
Commercial presentation of the company to existing contacts
Maintaining commercial contact with old clients
Prospecting for opportunities in our area of activity
General administration of the branch using the LEAN system, supported by the existing functional areas
Presenting commercial proposals;
Experience in Maritime, Oil and Gas, Foreign Trade or related areas required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Higher education
Desirable: Postgraduate Degree Complete
Field of study: Administration, Marketing and Sales
Language: Written and Spoken English - Fluent Level
Experience in the commercial area
Experience in any company in projects and special cargoes
Knowledge of routines, players and the oil and gas market;

Airswift has been tasked by one of our key clients to seek a Contract Advisor to join them in London, UK on a 1-year renewable contract.
Main accountabilities and responsibilities:
• Review and qualify or draft different types of contracts, including but not limited to: engineering, procurement, Construction, (EPC) transportation and installation, service contracts, as well as associated confidentiality agreements, non-disclosure and restrictive use agreements; partnership/consortium/joint venture/alliance agreements, subcontract agreements;
• Manage the workload in coordination with Tendering/Commercial, Project Management and Procurement functions, collecting the inputs from the other functions, including Insurance, Tax and Finance;
• Prepare Contract Summaries on tender/project specific basis;
• Advise Company and Corporate Management on the main contractual risks, identifying and proposing contractual mitigation actions;
• Participate in meetings (with internal clients, external clients, partners and subcontractors), negotiating, taking notes and preparing summaries and/or Minutes of Meeting;
• Negotiate the contractual instruments with the counterparties in the best interests of the Company and in accordance with Company risk policies;
• Support the Project Management teams in the determination of claims and contract management strategies , in the preparation and evaluation of variation order requests, and in the drafting of key project correspondence towards clients, major subcontractors and/or other interfacing third parties ;
• Support the Procurement function in the review of subcontracts and purchase orders;
• Draft all related legal instruments and correspondence;
• Have knowledge of the industry standard contracts (FIDIC, LOGIC, BIMCO, IOCs’ etc.);
• Assist in the resolution of legal and contractual matters, in coordination with the relevant Corporate functions.
• Regularly report to the Company and Corporate Management on the Contract Management activities.
Requirements:
• Knowledge and experience of English Law;
• Proven experience of reviewing and advising on tendering contracts and of administrating project contracts and effective negotiation skills are essential;
• Proven experience negotiating and executing offshore construction contracts
• Strong commercial awareness;
• International mobility both for short missions and potentially for long-term assignments.
