Position: Cost Engineer
Location: Arnhem 
Contract Duration: 9 months (extension possible) 

As a Cost Engineer within the Engineering department, you'll play a pivotal role in budgeting, cost assessment, and project management.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with project teams, providing cost-related guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to standardization efforts alongside Cost Engineers from other regions.
  • Integrate cost data into the system for accurate budgeting and cost analysis.
  • Assist in tender preparation, offer assessment, and advising management on cost-related matters.
  • Evaluate additional and reduced work during project execution, advising project leaders and contract managers.
  • Flexibility to support other regions as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cost Engineer, preferably in infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in budgeting methods and calculation software.
  • Strong understanding of contract types and implementation methods.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Result-oriented, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset
  • Fluent in English or Dutch.
