We are currently recruiting an experienced Rail Safety Manager to work on major rail projects in SEQ. Working for a renowned infrastructure consulting firm, the function of this advisor is to support the client with setting up any processes and procedures required for the workplace and sites, undertake audits, develop and review client-side Safe Work Method statements and any other safety documents required.
Experience working on TMR projects is required (road, rail etc).
Location- Brisbane CBD with occasional site travel
Duration- 6-month Contract
Hours- Monday – Friday, standard working hours
Rate- $130hr - $160hr including super
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies and procedures
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards
- Collaborate with various government / rail operator divisions to integrate safety practices into daily operations.
- Develop and review Safe Work Method statements
- Representing the client, ensure correct processes are set up so that contractors can deliver and comply with rail safety standards
- Monitor and analyse safety performance metrics, preparing reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and participate in regulatory audits and inspections.
Required Experience
- 7+ years’ Safety Management experience on significant transport infrastructure projects
- Relevant Qualification / Certificate within WHS / OHS / HSEQ
- Previous experience working on TMR Projects (QLD)
- Exposure to consulting, client-side environment is desirable
- Current Drivers Licence
- In-depth knowledge of Australian Rail Safety standards and regulations

This role is suited for a senior technician with at least 10 years of experience, focusing on High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems and/or CFA systems (BMS, security, fire safety, fiber networks).
You will have managed electrical budgets exceeding €2M and has experience in Data Centers, Industrial facilities or high-rise commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Supervision and Coordination:
Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring work is carried out according to project specifications and safety standards.
Manage and coordinate subcontractors to ensure that the electrical systems are installed on time and within budget.
Supervise the installation of HV/LV systems and specialized CFA systems (BMS, security, fire safety).
Ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other construction disciplines
Technical Leadership:
Provide expert technical oversight for HV/LV and CFA systems, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements.
Conduct quality control checks, inspections, and troubleshooting to address any issues in electrical installations.
Lead the technical clarification and coordination with subcontractors and suppliers.
Budget and Resource Management:
Manage the electrical scope, including cost control and resource allocation.
Ensure all electrical materials and equipment are procured and delivered on schedule.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, particularly when handling high-voltage systems.
Conduct regular site safety audits to maintain high safety standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical management for large construction projects.
Expertise in High Voltage/Low Voltage systems and CFA systems
Experience managing electrical budgets of over €2M.

On behalf of one of our clients, a global leader in the specialised infra marine works, I am currently recruiting for a Sr Planning Engineer to work on a large infrastructure project. In this role, you will coordinate and integrate project planning from early feasibility assessments through to production, supporting design, construction, and handover of manufacturing facilities. This position requires strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6
- Conduct "What-If" analyses and develop mitigation plans
- Integrate and coordinate timelines across multiple disciplines and team
- Support procurement processes and cost control within global programs
- Upload progress data into Loadspring for client reporting
- Lead project portfolio optimization and digitization efforts via AzureDevOps
- Propose improvements and capture lessons learned for future projects
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience as a Planning Engineer
- Exceptional proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Planisware Version 7
- Proficiency in spreadsheet and dashboard applications, such as MS Power BI, MS Excel, and Tableau
- Thorough understanding of industrial project trades and the interactions between all trades (project management, construction management, civil/building/facilities, electrical, piping, process and equipment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related applied science
- Fluent in English
