Airswift is currently in search of a dynamic Integration Engineer – Hydrogen Systems to join a major client on a 12-month contract, stationed at their facilities in Redcliffe, Perth. To advance its green energy agenda and meet carbon neutrality objectives, a significant emphasis will be placed on the client’s Heavy Industry projects involving the exploration and experimentation of diverse technologies tailored for powering mining fleets and rail locomotives.

The Company
A global operator of renewable energy looking to add to their ranks in a new renewables project in Perth.

 

The Role
This is a Perth based contracting role on an initial 12-month contract on a Monday to Friday schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the systems engineering process from analysis to validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate components for seamless product functionality.
  • Participate in design reviews to address integration issues early in development.
  • Coordinate multiple subsystem teams to ensure optimal compatibility and performance.
  • Develop and oversee prototype creation for integration testing and adjustments.
  • Plan and execute verification tests to meet design requirements and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to integrate third-party components to meet standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues during design and development.
  • Maintain detailed records of integration processes and test results.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical/Electrical/Software/Systems Engineering or related field.
  • Proven integration engineering experience in product design and development.
  • Solid understanding of systems engineering principles.
  • Experience in fixed plant electrical design is a plus.
  • Proficient in CAD software; familiarity with modelling, simulation, and CAE is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Familiarity with emerging product development technologies.
