Overview:
Join a dynamic team at A Major Oil & Gas Company and play a pivotal role as a Database Administrator specializing in INtools. You will be at the forefront of managing our INtools database infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations for our engineering projects in the industrial sector. We're looking for a candidate with 5-7 years of INtools expertise, coupled with a background in E&I design, to drive efficiency and excellence in our database management.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers to fulfill project requirements efficiently.
- Coordinate with technicians and external vendors to streamline material procurement processes.
- Conduct training sessions to empower users with INtools proficiency and best practices.
- Manage the GMOC (Management of Change) system, ensuring timely task closure.
- Forge strong partnerships with engineering, mechanical, and third-party teams to optimize project workflows.
- Serve as the INtools expert, ensuring database integrity and user support.
- Utilize field and process control knowledge to develop detailed specification sheets for control valves and other critical equipment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a 2-year associate's degree; preference for candidates with relevant experience.
- 5-7 years of database administration experience, with a focus on INtools.
- Proficient in reading AutoCAD drawings; experience in E&I design is advantageous.
- Strong computer skills with familiarity in database management systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Hands-on experience in an industrial environment is highly desirable.
