Our client is seeking a Civil/Structural Designer for a 1+ year assignment located in Richmond, VA.
Design, Draft and Review manual and electronic detailed structural or civil engineering drawings, such as structural steel or reinforced concrete drawings (plan, elevation, sections, details), site plans and grading plans (plan, elevation, cross sections, details), demolition drawings, layout drawings, and complex civil/structural shop and construction drawings. This position acts as a technical expert for civil/structural detailing and drafting and may coordinate and direct the work of other lower level designers as applicable. Will require construction site visits. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bentley MicroStation CAD software experience
- AutoCAD CAD software experience
- Thorough knowledge of civil/structural engineering, design, & construction principles
- Knowledge of applicable regulations, related codes, and standards
- Knowledge of survey equipment operation and general survey principles and techniques.
- Knowledge and familiarity with various software packages associated with surveying.
- Thorough knowledge of American Concrete Institute’s ACI Detailing Manual and American

Duties and Responsibilities
- Civil/structural design support for multiple the Clients Power Generation generating stations
- Preparation and review of civil/structural drawings in support of various power station engineering projects
- Preparation and review of civil/structural drawing standards for Power Generation
- Engineering department
- Develop topographical and plan and profile drawings from surveying notes/data
- Perform site investigations as required
- Provide construction support as required
- Review and comment on 3rd party Vendor, Architect, and Engineer drawing submittals

Our client is seeking a Project Scheduler to work on site in Richland, WA for a one year assignment, initially.
The purpose of this position is to deliver a timely, coherent, comprehensive and accurate set of schedules to the site for daily, on-line and outage work periods.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule project activities (date, time, sequence) for the Nuclear or Engineering Projects organizations.
- Perform schedule maintenance between Passport and Primavera scheduling tools.
- Assist various project managers in developing schedules for on-line, outage projects and life-cycle schedules, including Enterprise Risk projects.
- This includes development of detailed plans/schedules, resolving conflicts with schedule adherence and the development of out-year schedules for various size projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field involving Mechanical, Electrical or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 8 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering or technical project management: OR,
- Associates degree in a technical field involving Mechanical, Electrical or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 10 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering or technical project management: OR,
- High school diploma or GED and 12 years of nuclear power generation experience in a journey level craft, qualified watch station, field engineer or Quality Control position within operations, maintenance, engineering, or quality assurance.
- Primavera 106 Training Certification or four years of experience using Primavera Scheduling software.
- Advanced knowledge of report development software (Crystal Reports) and database analysis.
- Working knowledge of the outage risk management and on-line risk management software (Paragon).
- SRO License or Certification
- Individual must have advanced knowledge in work management and outage work processes and procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of the Passport program and database, including the interface to the Primavera scheduling program.

Responsibilities:
- To define energy trading strategy for GPG Australia generation assets.
- To manage any energy, power and service sale provided by GPG Australia generation assets. This could be managed through Power Purchase Agreements (any type) and/or spot market.
- To negotiate Power Purchase Agreements
- To analyze trading regulatory framework affection to Australian generation assets on a continuous basis. To implement changes needed to comply with those.
- To analyze market opportunities for Australian generation assets on a continuous basis.
- To represent the company before organism, associations, regulators and in general any energy market related institution.
- To manage reconciliation process for any energy, power or service provided by the Australian assets.
- To collaborate with GPG Development in studying Trading opportunities for new Australia generation assets.
- To collaborate to fulfill Financial agreements obligations.
Essential:
- Minimum of 5 years working in a similar role with demonstrated experience in trading energy management.
- Renewable energy markets knowledge and experience.
- Strong understanding of Australian Energy Markets and Regulations
- Ability to tailor communication to different level of stake holders
- Understanding of Power Purchase Agreements
