Our client has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to work on a major project for a high-profile mining client in a role based at their Perth CBD office. The project is focused on civil earthworks with scopes including areas such as roads, drainage and associated mine infrastructure. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will work as a part of a multidisciplinary project team, and will take on responsibilities such as:
- Providing direction to the civil design team.
- Preparing calculations and checking design drawings and models to ensure they align with applicable standards and specifications.
- Preparation of MTO’s for estimating purposes.
- Coordinating interfaces with the client side and establishing positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Preparing study and design documentation, specifications and project deliverables.
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
- Extensive experience working within the mining and infrastructure project environment, coupled with an understanding and experience in engineering design.
- Experience in preparing engineering calculations, and checking design drawings and models.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to liaise with external and internal stakeholders.
