Airswift is looking for two SSHE Technicians to work with a major Oil and Gas company in Midland, TX for a 12-month assignment.
Main Functions: Work collaboratively with company and contractor's site management and Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) organizations to implement project and site safety programs, offering guidance on best practices. SSHE Technicians support specific safety, security, health, or environmental subject areas within an affiliate or site. They assist in data entry, management, and reporting while engaging with field/operations personnel and SSHE Advisors.
Tasks and Responsibilities: In addition to Level 1 tasks and responsibilities, Level 2 duties include:
- Preparation of monthly Safety Stewardship, Progress, and Executive Reports by acquiring, analyzing data, preparing trend analysis, and generating supporting graphs, tables, and statistics.
- Serve as the point of contact for incident management program.
- Maintain and analyze data in the Project’s Safety Database.
- Propose and implement new safety initiatives/awareness programs, such as management presentations and poster programs.
- Identify trends in safety data and recommend initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Graduate.
- Post-Secondary Diploma in Safety Technology.
- Previous experience in Health, Safety, and Security.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Effective team player.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word.
- Ability to travel to the field (80% travel required), agency will provide contractor vehicle.
