Vessel Software Lead (Offshore)
Location: Onboard a vessel travelling worldwide (flights included)
Contract type: Ending 31/12/24 (long-term project)
Rotation: 35 days on, 35 days off

Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor, with full autonomy, all automation system related to the pipe/flex lay equipment, pipe handling, lifting appliances and the rest of the system connected to the production side
- Monitor and control supervising on-board electrical/electronic equipment according with safety procedures, maintenance work setting priorities and proposing maintenance schedule
- Propose to the Chief Engineer and Chief Electrician the required quantity of material stock levels, to maintain work continuity
- Supervise the carrying out of work activities in compliance to safety procedures and practices
- Ensure the efficiency of the electrical/electronic equipment
- Coordinate the electrical team for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance
Requirements:
- Strong experience in coordinating and managing automation systems, high-level automation knowledge required too. (Pipe/flex lay equipment, pipe handling, lifting appliances etc.)
- Experience with TIA Portal and Siemens Environmental
- Strong working proficiency in the English language.
