- Develop new processes solid modelling, create and update work instructions in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
- Design tools, fixtures, and gauges via NX Unigraphics.
- Establish Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP); conduct pre-production pilot run and provide training for technicians and operations.
- Support Request for Quote (RFQ) proposal development and process.
- Lead, participate and provide support in continuous improvement projects.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in aerospace component manufacturing, high volume manufacturing, or precision engineering industry.
- Competent with CAD software; Siemens NX Unigraphics or SolidWorks, CNC machining and programming using CAD/CAM.
- Proficient at reading, analyzing, and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and standards.
- Familiar with special processes such as heat treatment, welding, non-conventional machining would be highly sought after.
