Our client is currently seeking suitably experienced and qualified Senior Project Engineer to join their high performing project team to lead and coordinate the delivery of Non-Process Infrastructure mining projects. Reporting to the Area Manager for NPI, this role will involve the management of key interfaces including Project controls, Procurement and Contracts and Engineering and Design functions.
The role will be based in Perth, WA and offered on an initial 12-month contract.

What you’ll do:
  • Effectively manage a small multidiscipline project or larger single discipline scope through any/all project phases as well as manage and coordinate multidiscipline engineering activities to ensure projects are executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner.
  • Act as primary technical co-ordination interface with client to ensure that the client's expectations are satisfied as well as ensure the project conforms to the client's approved Basis of Design and all applicable regulatory and code requirements.
  • Effectively contribute or produce execution plans and strategies for projects.
  • Demonstrates full commitment to all health and safety matters and provides safety leadership to project team.
  • Has participated in Constructability, Operability and Maintainability Workshops.
  • Oversees, motivates and monitors the performance of the team, ensuring quality and timeliness of assignments and roles, and addresses any performance gaps.
  • Applies knowledge of all aspects of a project (engineering, procurement, quality control, etc.) to oversee the successful execution of the project plan.
  • Understanding of procurement/subcontracting and on-site construction support.
  • Project design deliverables and design quantities are tracked and analyzed.
  • Tracks cost and schedule and uses analytical skill to forecast trends.
  • Manages execution, coordination, and implements regular reviews/controls to track project progress and develops action plans to address project tasks and issues.
  • Good understanding of Project Control Reports and identified problem areas, and effectively communicates and take a leadership role in preparing and presenting proposals and reports to staff and management.

What you’ll bring
  • A recognised engineering degree.
  • Can make independent decisions and set priorities related to complex situations based on established guidelines and taking into account the cost and schedule impacts to the project.
  • Sound knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint and can organize information from many sources and retain as per the prescribed format and policies.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Access and Visio.
  • EPCM, EPC experience including site assignments; Multi-Cultural / Multi-National environments.
  • Extensive years of engineering experience, including relevant supervisory, project management and/or technical experience; Workshare experience; E, EP project experience.
  • Substantial technical, practical and leadership experience in a relevant discipline and proven experience in project engineering on smaller projects, with associated commercial and contractual experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Collate and compile independently the necessary information to support timely cost data consolidation, analysis and reporting.
  • Understand the requirements of the approved cost control procedures and ensure proper implementation in the course of work.
  • Develop and maintain detailed cost control plans using Company tools and best industry practices.
  • Set-up Cost Breakdown Structure and allocate budget, resources, and any other data required into the system.

Requirements/Qualification:

Project Insights:

  • Major sustaining project for an existing mine. 
  • For design - new NPI infrastructure - haul road networks (civil earthworks), gas pipeline crossing, LV access roads, surface water management (waterway crossing), connection/extension to existing raw water distribution, satellite NPI facilities, communications infrastructure.
  • New roads (heavy & light vechicles) - some crossing over gas pipelines, extending water pipelines, extension of existing water lines, extending powerlines, new comms towers, hydrology / drainage / dewatering assessments etc.
  • The first 6 months will be a basic design. Then transition to detailed design. A good 18 months minimum of work ahead.
  • The main flavor of design endeavours will be bulk earthworks, water transport & management, and low voltage powerlines.

Candidate Requirements:

  • MicroStation essential.
  • 4 - 7 years in Electrical Design (2D & 3D).
  • Mining non-process infrastructure background is preferred.
  • Will consider onshore oil and gas project experience.
  • Need to be high-energy and driven individuals.
  • Not essential, but ideally no significant annual leave plans for the next 6 months.

Key Activities:
  • Responsible and accountable to assist all piping related in maintenance activities performed at West Qurna 1 field by ensuring maintenance activities are integrated in accordance with the Production Unit Asset Leadership team’s plans.

Key Activities:
  • Raise Purchase Orders in line with business rules.
  • Ensure Purchase Orders are approved in line with business rules.
  • Email the Purchase Order to the supplier (where the system does not support automatic emailing of the Purchase Order).
  • Receipt Purchase Order based on an approved goods receipt note/delivery docket.
  • Request credit notes from suppliers and send to Accounts Payable for processing.
  • Establish sound relationships with suppliers, ensure lead times are met and expedite outstanding orders.

  • 4 – 5 years’ experience in a Purchasing role, including data entry.

Role Synopsis
The central Western Hemisphere Pore Pressure and Geomechanics team located in Houston is looking for a Pore Pressure/Geomechanics specialist to join the team and support well planning and execution for all of the Western Hemisphere.  This team supports all of the Gulf of Mexico, Trinidad, and exploration (including Brazil and Canada) producing assets and exploration activities offshore.  In addition, the team is becoming increasingly involved in appraisal and development work for Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) in the US.  We work closely with our subsurface and wells teams both in the Western Hemisphere as well as globally to safely and effectively deliver wells for company.
The Pore Pressure/Geomechanics Specialist is an integral member of the cross-disciplinary well delivery teams and provides support for well planning and execution by developing geologically sound and compliant pore and fracture pressure forecasts and wellbore stability models. The specialist is involved in all aspects of well planning from early concept, through detailed well planning, execution and post well analysis. Primary Accountabilities
  • Pore Pressure and Fracture Pressure Forecasting:
    • The successful candidate is expected to integrate multiple types of indicators and observations of pressure and fracture gradient in a geologic context to generate a pre-drill pore pressure and fracture gradient (PPFG) forecast.  This may include: pressure from seismic velocities, offset well data such as measured pressures, connection gases, log derived pressures in shale, and basin models for building the pore pressure model and log data, drilling events/data, mini-frac/leakoff test data, lost circulation events, impact of reservoir depletion and lithology variations to constrain fracture gradient and minimum stress. .
    • The successful candidate with then integrate their work with others on the multi-disciplinary well planning team to optimize the design on the selection of drilling fluid type/weight, casing string design, setting depths, potential geo-hazards and mitigation techniques. They will also be able to communicate the technical work as well as the risks and mitigations to a wide range of stakeholders, ranging from the drilling team, the Operations team monitoring the well, leadership as we well as co-owners and governmental regulators.
  • Operational Support for Pore Pressure Detection as required for complex development or exploration wells in collaboration with the remote collaboration center; including real-time model calibration, kick analysis, gas and breathing analysis and losses investigations as well as interpretation of formation integrity tests. The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating the updated PPFG model and forecast going forward to the operations team and to recommend potential changes to mudweight or drilling strategy and potential locations for pressure points.
  • Drillability Assessment: work closely with wells to develop wellbore strengthening model and implementation plan for drilling through depleted reservoirs.
  • Wellbore stability analysis: Developing wellbore stability models as the basis for providing minimum mud weight recommendations for drilling and completing wells. There will be an emphasis on analysis and integration of data from multiple sources e.g. log data, drilling data, cavings analysis, image and caliper log analysis etc.
  • Operational assessment: contribute to Reservoir Development Operating Limits, broaching analyses, zonal isolation assessment, alternate well design, deviation/abandonment risk assessments. Participate in risk assessments to represent the PPFG, zonal isolation and broaching risks.
  • Participation in subsurface related non-productive time (NPT) analyses and investigations
  • Support development and implementation of a world class PPFG and Geomechanics toolkit. 
  • Represent company externally as required at industry meetings and JIPs etc.
  • Coach for less experienced team members
Essential Education
Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Science, Geoscience, Geomechanics or Mathematics
Essential Criteria
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant oilfield (drilling PPFG/geomechanics) with operator or service company. 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to distill complicated technical work to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with cross-disciplinary teams and competing priorities to deliver challenging wells.
  • The candidate must be familiar with PPFG, geomechanics, drilling and subsurface aspects of Well Planning and Execution.

Airswift is seeking a Project Scheduler to work with our key client in Richland, WA for a long term contract.

Responsible for schedule plant activities (date, time, sequence) for all plant organizations. Develop system window schedules to support on-line maintenance and outage management. Perform schedule maintenance between Passport and Primavera scheduling tools.
Direct and coordinate the detailed schedule development for assigned windows to ensure Technical Specification and Maintenance Rule compliance and properly manage risk in a manner consistent with station procedures, processes, and goals.
Maintain outage schedule integrity.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of the Primavera scheduling program and basic scheduling techniques.
  • Primavera 106 Training Certification or four years of experience using Primavera Scheduling software.
  • Advanced knowledge of report development software (Crystal Reports) and database analysis.
  • Working knowledge of the outage risk management and on-line risk management software (Paragon).
  • PMP certification.
  • Working knowledge of management techniques (e.g., situational leadership, performance management, time management, etc.).

Desired Education:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of experience directly related to maintenance processes, human performance, and/or continuous improvement; OR an Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university and six (6) years of experience directly related to maintenance processes, human performance, and/or continuous improvement; OR a high school diploma or GED and twelve (8) years of experience.

Job Description: As a Substation Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, engineering, and management of substation projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Design and engineer substation layouts, including equipment selection, arrangement, and specification.
  • Develop detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations for substation components and systems.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Conduct technical reviews and evaluations to optimize substation designs and performance.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate substation designs into overall transmission system projects.
  • Provide support during construction, testing, and commissioning phases of substation projects.
  • Participate in project meetings, reviews, and discussions with clients and regulatory agencies.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Prepare project scopes, estimates, and budgets for substation construction and upgrades.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate substation equipment and materials based on project requirements.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing substation conditions and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in substation engineering and design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or other design software.
  • Strong knowledge of substation equipment, protective relaying, and control systems.
  • Experience with substation standards such as IEEE, NEC, and NESC.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
  • Experience with substation automation and SCADA systems.
  • Familiarity with project management processes and protocols.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 
Follow up on deadlines with suppliers, adjusting (postponing or bringing forward) previously sent deliveries according to needs
Validate the entire project materials list, ensuring that purchase requests are made correctly
Initiate and monitor the Procurement team's purchasing process, providing support in the approval of technical proposals by engineers
Map and communicate deviations during manufacturing phases
Register materials with the material coding department (Klassmatt).
Monitor and arrange the issuance of purchase orders for materials or contracting of services, with the supplies department Interface with the logistics team to request and monitor the mobilization of materials from service providers to carry out activities during shipment.
Assist in the unloading of materials for calibration, inspection or repair in an onshore subcontractor, reservation of materials in warehouses, as well as overseeing the processes for sending and returning materials, together with the logistics team and subcontracted company.
Monitor the receipt of materials, monitor delivery schedules at the base Interact with the receiving logistics team
Monitoring shipment of material from suppliers
Monitoring the shipment of material to the port
Area sizing analysis for receiving material on board Identify points for improvement and contribute to continuous improvement of project support processes

JOB QUALIFICATIONS 
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Administration or other areas
Intermediate English
Advanced Excel - desirable
ERP, MRP, SAP - mandatory
