Catcher FPSO

Background

Our client is a leading provider of floating production services to the oil and gas industry, with a fleet of 15 owned FPSOs worldwide. The Catcher Field was discovered in 2010 and field development was approved in 2014.

Challenge

In May 2014, our client was selected by Premier Oil to execute the engineering, procurement, construction, installation and operation of a newly built FPSO for the Catcher field in the UK North Sea.

Airswift Solution

Airswift was involved in the project from 2014 to 2019 to provide employment support and relocation services, including logistics, visa and work permits, verification of offshore certifications, PPE provisions, and 24/7 contractor support handled by our offices in Singapore and the United Kingdom.

Results

At peak, Airswift provided over 180 engineering professionals in Singapore and maintained 96% local content among more than 100 technicians and supervisors during the Commissioning phase. Since 2017, Airswift has supported over 20 Singaporean contractors on vessel to the North Sea to complete commissioning and hook up.
