Our client is an integrated contracting company who specialise in road works, demolition, excavation works, asbestos removal and civil engineering. They were engaged as a civil engineering contractor on a large data centre new build project in Belgium.
The project required on site staffing at short notice and time constraints meant that CV’s needed to be submitted and interviews arranged as quickly as possible. Due to the experience requirements, the majority of contractors who were brought onto the project were UK nationals. The company therefore had to ensure relevant documentation was completed (e.g. Limosa & A1 form) and the contractors were supported through the mobilisation.
Airswift successfully provided talent acquisition services to the project. We supplied contract workers ranging from project managers through to general foreman with specific concrete & civil engineering experience. Due to the time constraints, we assisted in the mobilisation of contractors to Belgium and ensured they were fully compliant before setting foot on site. We also met with contractors on site and familiarised ourselves with the project to understand and improve the suitability of contractors moving forward.
Airswift have supplied 15 contractors over an 18 month period to the project. This has included the supply of a project management team whose work has resulted in our client being awarded further packages of work by their client. Airswift continue to supply contractors to the project for the next phases of work that have been awarded.
